MAKE A CASH DONATION

Cash donations are always welcome and you can determine where you would like your donation to be spent! For example, your donation could help fund the collection, research centre, or general operations. Click here to make a cash donation.

BUY A BOOK FOR OUR LIBRARY

Buying a book for the FHM Library helps to enrich our research collection. If you purchase a book from our Amazon Wishlist, your name will be written into a bookplate for posterity.

DONATE AN ARTIFACT OR FASHION TREASURE

If you have a fashion treasure you would like to donate to the FHM, please send an email to our Curatorial Director Jonathan Walford (curator@fashionhistorymuseum.com). Be sure to include photos of each artifact you intend to donate along with any relevant information (known history, labels, etc.)

 

If the offer is of interest, the curator will arrange to see the donation in person, preferably at the museum. If the item(s) aligns with the mandate of our collection, we will take the donation into the collection. Items that do not meet our mandate may still be useful as education material, props, or for fundraising purposes. A tax receipt prepared by the museum is provided to all donors. High-value items may require an outside evaluation, in which case the donor will bear the costs in exchange for a tax receipt.
