"I find it challenging and rewarding to take the extra step and stretch my imagination by purchasing a gently used item, perhaps from a thrift store that I see possibilities beyond the garment’s initial
concept. Why not take a skirt and change it into a jacket? Maybe my transformation will eventually find its way into the hands of another sewist who can continue the evolution with their fresh ideas. Who
knows, perhaps that jacket may become a skirt again!"
