Teas, Tours, and Rentals


Throughout the year, usually on holiday weekends, reservations can be made to attend one of our teas (prices may vary depending on theme and tea type). Private teas can also be arranged for your group (minimum 12 guests).

Group Visits

We welcome group visits, but as we are a small museum we request that large groups book in advance to avoid overcrowding. Adult tours for pre-arranged groups are charged a discounted rate of $8.00 each plus HST when made in one payment (minimum 10 guests).

Venue Rental

The 400 square foot Gallery '29 has been restored to the 1929 era when the post office first opened. A banquette in the style of the era fills the space where the front counter originally existed, and period lighting and colour scheme complete the Art Deco atmosphere. This is the space where we hold our teas, but we also offer the space for rentals. 


The room accommodates 50 standing (cocktail party); 40 seated (theatre style), 30 seated at tables (restaurant style), or 16 for a conference meeting. The fee is $75 per hour; $300 (full day), with an additional after hours charge of $25 per hour. Plus HST. Gallery admission is included with the rental fee, but there are additional charges for: linens, glassware/dishes, and liquor license.
